Power Inn Chiropractic

8280 Folsom Blvd., Suite A

Sacramento, CA

916-387-1007

drhulbert.com

Dr. Hulbert is a fantastic chiropractor. He adjusts his treatment to the patient – he works on patients who need an aggressive adjustment and elderly patients who need a very gentle adjustment. He travels to Colombia periodically and provides free care to many individuals on his trips. He cured headaches I had for 20 years. One thing I really like about him is that one does not need to make an appointment for treatment. When one of his patients is hurting he wants to see them as soon as possible and the patient can walk in at any time during business hours.

Fort Sutter Automotive

1705 19th Street

Sacramento, CA

916-447-7182

Fort Sutter Automotive is run by Nick Chacon, a former mechanic at Japanese Service Center. He is honest and does his best to serve his customers well. He shows me what is wrong with the parts of my car and does his best to save me money. I highly recommend his establishment.

Vince’s

840 Harbor Boulevard

West Sacramento, CA

916-371-6395

Vince’s is an old restaurant in West Sacramento which has recently been taken over by a GREAT Italian cook. I have had spaghetti and ravioli and loved them both. The sauce was meaty and tasty. The meal came with soup or salad, bread, and ice cream for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend this restaurant for great Italian food.

Leatherby's

2333 Arden Way

Sacramento, CA

916-920-8382

This is a family-owned old fashioned style ice cream parlor. The ice cream is very high quality for a reasonable price. My favorite item is the Daddy Dave's Banana Split, even though I have to take home left-overs when I order it. They also serve sandwiches, hot dogs, hamburgers, and other meal items in case one wants to have a meal before or after the ice cream.

Music Circus and California Musical Theater

1419 H Street

Sacramento, CA

Music Circus is one of two circular theaters in America. The building is one-of-a kind and has the stage in the center of the audience. The shows are of excellent quality and have an intimate feel due to the size of the theater. I have seen some of the shows presented on this stage performed by Broadway traveling troupes and those on the Music Circus stage have been better in every case. They are open to taking on challenges presented by traditional stage productions – they were very successful with “Les Miserables” which contains a barricade which rotates on the traditional stage and with “Miss Saigon” which has a helicopter on the traditional stage. Both challenges were met with expertise which enabled the entire circular audience to see the entire production. The shows run in July and August and I highly recommend seeing at least one show in the round for a very unique and wonderful experience. Music Circus is a part of California Musical Theater which also has shows in other venues. Check out their web site for more information.

Balshor Florist

2661 Riverside Blvd.

Sacramento, CA

916-441-3023

This is a family-owned florist which still deals in quality. I have been doing business with them for years and have always been very satisfied with the flower arrangements they deliver. The arrangements I have ordered have been for happy occasions and as a thank you. The arrangements for these occasions have been bright and always well-balanced in color as well as type of flower used, and of course, absolutely beautiful! I have seen many arrangements from other local florists, and my favorite is definitely Balshor Florist.
